Drag and drop a emails into property Tree
Currently when you try to drag and drop an emailed invoice, Property Tree doesn't allow this. You have to save the invoice then drag it from the saved file, just very time consuming.
We are happy to let you know that we have been working on adding emails into Property Tree and that you can now:
Save your email to your Desktop then upload the .msg file into the Documents pane of an Ownership, Property, Tenancy, Creditor or Sale Property profile.
Please share your feedback with the by adding a reaction or a comment to this suggestion.

Emails can be saved by printing them to CutePDF and then uploading to PT but this is super time-consuming.

I can drag and drop eg Bond Certificates directly from my Outlook Emails when Property Tree is open in Internet Explorer - but I can't drag and drop when using Property Tree in Chrome??? We have been advised Property Tree works better in Chrome - does anyone else have this issue?

I agree! Especially about it being auto saved in the tenants documents

yes same for letters too, its so time consuming and doubling up, should be able to just print them from Property Tree and P Tree auto saves it in the files.

There needs to be a way to save (drag and drop) emails from outlook to the doc management field like filesmart did. It's very time consuming having to save it as a PDF first and then entering it.

Given PropertyTree does not have an ingoing/outgoing email function, emails still need to be saved in a property profile to be kept for recording purposes. It would be good if you were able to drag and drop an email from outlook to a property profile in PropertyTree.
This would reduce the amount of time it took to complete this task and would make the process much simpler to ensure records were retained correctly. Currently you must print the email to a PDF, save the PDF to your desktop and then upload as a document in PropertyTree.
